Hi there! I’m Elena, an enthusiast, structural engineer with deep interest in software. I’ve been exploring software for calculations and love finding innovative solutions to complex problems. I specialize in steel and facade and enjoy staying on top of the latest industry trends. I’m all about learning, growing, and sharing what I know with others. On my blog, you’ll find insights, tutorials, and updates that reflect my journey and the things I’m excited about. I hope to inspire and help others along the way!

Though some of my knowledge comes from self-learning or work experience, I’ve also completed various courses in the past. I strongly encourage engineers to sign up for courses whenever possible, as they have been incredibly helpful for me. The three-hour course I took in SCIA greatly improved my stability analysis skills. I learned Rhino/Grasshopper from scratch by taking a 400-hour course, which I believe was time well spent. Additionally, I spend hours watching tutorials on YouTube and create videos on less-covered topics. My passion for learning and sharing knowledge drives me to continually explore and grow, and I hope to inspire others to embark on their own educational journeys.

My journey with IDEA StatiCa

In 2020 I completed 50 hours course of Theory and practice of steel connection design using IDEA StatiCa. I had some previous experience with the software as I was already working in steel design industry, and spend hours watching tutorials, but the course gave me in depth knowledge as it was well structured to gradually explain and explore the possibilities in the software.

After a while working in the industry of steel and facade design I decided to create a Youtube channel where I share my knowledge and passion for learning and exploring software. But IDEA StatiCa team thought I was ready to become more than just a content creator. In May 2024, I completed the necessary courses, and earned the credibility to and became certified trainer in IDEA StatiCa. I am officially recognized and authorized to offer personalized trainings.
